Faulty Returns Policy
- Only products within the warranty period will be considered for replacement. Warranty does not cover any damage caused by corrosion, liquid spillage, power surges, lightning, leaking batteries or any deliberate or accidental abuse. Warranty period begins from the date of invoice.
- The faulty item should always be returned to us before replacement can occur. All items must be returned with a clear fault description – the word “FAULTY” is not deemed an acceptable description. In all cases a faulty report form should be included with the goods.
- If the product cannot be returned to us before replacement can occur for some legitimate reason, a replacement item will be invoiced and sent out to you. The faulty item must then be returned to us within 15 days of this invoice date. If the faulty item is received within this 15 day period and tested to be faulty this invoice will be credited in full. If the item in question is tested not faulty – it will be returned to you with your next order and the invoice for the replacement will remain payable under our normal terms and conditions.
- Should the faulty item be received at our offices after the stipulated 15 day period and tested faulty the replacement invoice will be credited but a 10% handling fee will be charged in line with our terms and conditions of sale. Again, if the product is tested not faulty it will be returned to you with your next order.
- Items replaced under warranty will be sent to you freight pre-paid. Inward freight must be paid by the sender.
- Security Distributors accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring during transit. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore for your own protection we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
